Strawberry Bliss Parfaits

A delightful layered dessert featuring fresh strawberries, whipped cream, and crunchy textures, perfect for any occasion.

  • 2 cups (300g) fresh strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 810 shortbread cookies or graham crackers, crushed
  • Optional: granola, chocolate sauce, toasted nuts, shredded coconut

Instructions

  1. Rinse 2 cups of fresh strawberries under cold water, pat them dry, remove the stems, and slice thinly. Toss with 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice to macerate for 10 minutes.
  2. In a chilled mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of heavy cream, 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Beat with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.
  3. Place 8-10 shortbread cookies or graham crackers in a ziplock bag and crush them into small crumbs using a rolling pin or food processor.
  4. In each glass, layer cookie crumbs, whipped cream or yogurt, and sliced strawberries. Repeat until the glass is full, finishing with whipped cream on top.
  5. Refrigerate the parfaits for at least 30 minutes before serving. Garnish with a whole strawberry or cookie crumbs.

Notes

For picture-perfect layers, use a piping bag for whipped cream. Toast granola or nuts for extra crunch. Chill the parfaits for at least 30 minutes to enhance flavor.
